GPS Coordinates: : 30.246985,-97.709972

Street Address:
517 S. Pleasant Valley Road, Asutin, TX 78741

From Downtown Austin: Take IH-35 Southbound over Lady Bird Lake then take the exit for Riverside Drive. Turn left onto Riverside Drive and proceed to the left lane until you see the left turn lane at the small traffic signal for Lakeshore Drive; take that left onto Lakeshore. Drive to the T-intersection of Pleasant Valley and Lakeshore.

Turn left onto Pleasant Valley, proceed North to the first red light by the fire tower. Turn right into that parking lot and follow the road all the way to the very last parking lot area.

Follow the sidewalk over the bridge, tee #1 will be on the right after the bridge. This is a long course and plays about 2.84 miles. Include to bring enough water to play the course. There are no water refill points, once you get past Hole #4 there is no “easy” way or route back to parking lot unless you back track or complete the course.

Designed to provide a challenge to the average player and pros alike. Each hole has dual tee boxes, the pro tees are not merely behind the Am tees, they are placed at varied locations and distances.

The area is very wooded all around, but the fairways have been cleared of unneeded trees/bushes.

Stone benches at every tee and the course has incorporated new innovations for erosion control [example: large diameter pads around each basket laid in the ground to prevent dig outs from shoes when you pick up your disc and turn away].

  1. Joe Ramirez says:

A couple of us people that play Roy G. at night put reflective tap on the baskets. If you stand on the tee and hold a good flashlight to the basket they light up beautifully!
